“It all comes back to pride in the organization. I’m committed to ensuring that we maintain a welcoming culture where our people feel valued and they share that feeling and that pride with our customers.”

– Grant Cowen,
Market President

When Tom Miers decided to retire from his role as President of Naperville Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, he knew Grant Cowen was the right man to step in. He watched Grant’s career at other local banks and saw his passion and involvement in numerous community organizations. He heard how loyal Grant’s customers were and the value he brought to their business banking needs. And Tom has seen that commitment and leadership first hand since Grant joined Wintrust. Grant will continue to serve the many customers he works with, helping them get the most from their banking relationship. And he’ll continue to serve the community as a volunteer and a leader.

Tom plans to stay very involved in his many community positions, working with North Central College, The Naperville YMCA, the Naperville Development Partnership among others. He’s also looking forward to spending more time in Colorado and with his wife Pati, their children, and grandchildren. And he’ll still be a tireless advocate for the bank that serves the community he loves so well.

Spotlight on Business Success is sponsored by Naperville Bank & Trust, serving Naperville with three locations, 555 Fort Hill Dr., 1205 S. Naper Blvd. and 5 S. Washington in the historic downtown post office. For more info, visit www.banknaperville.com.

PN Ombudsman
An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
