The Riverwalk, Naper Settlement, and a vibrant downtown. Much like these well-known amenities, NCTV17 is also unique to Naperville. Few communities in the nation have such a robust community television station sharing stories that reflect the world they live in.
Every day NCTV17 reporters connect you to Naperville by sharing stories of courage, determination, and hope through our weekly news and sports shows. From one man’s run to honor his wife’s struggle and loss to ALS, to local Olympians returning home to visit their high schools, NCTV17 captures and preserves these special moments for years to come.
Local residents also walk through the station’s door at 127 Ambassador Drive to share their story in a different way through our various studio-based programs. Spotlight features 72 nonprofit organizations each year talking about the important work they’re doing to make our community a healthier, safer, and more welcoming place for everyone. School Scene lets viewers know what our school districts are doing to support students in areas such as cyber-safety and college preparation. Career Center brings together human resource experts to offer advice to those residents who are unemployed, underemployed, or simply seeking a career change.
Whether you watch us on Channel 17 or online at NCTV17.com or receive our daily Naperville Now email, we keep you connected to the people and places of your home town. Just as we’ve done for the last 30 years.
As many of you know, NCTV17 launched its first capital campaign earlier this year to raise $30,000 toward the purchase of four High Definition studio cameras. We are just over 60 percent of the way to meeting that goal, so we still need your help.
If you value the stories NCTV17 shares about your home town, please consider making a contribution to support your community’s nonprofit television station. Donations can be made online at www.nctv17.com/donate or sent by mail to 127 Ambassador Dr. Suite 103, Naperville, IL 60540.
Thanks for your support Naperville. We’ll see you on TV!
